My name is Mark Shaw and I direct the Via Institute.  Via is a project of Peninsula Community Chapel in Yorktown, VA (www.pccyorktown.com). This is a church with a great vision to engage the culture with the gospel in a faithful, Philippians 4:8 way, focusing on whatever is true, beautiful, and good in God's word and in God's world. Via Institute holds seminary-level courses for the Peninsula Fellows Program, a ten-month leadership development program for college graduates (www.peninsulafellows.com). Via also partners with Veritas@CNU to host an annual lecture on Faith and Learning at Christopher Newport University.  Finally, Via offers the blog, "Inside Culture Care" to explore the implications of Philippians 4:8 for Christian engagement with culture.
